Dr. Muhammad Ehtisham Hassan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer and Software Engineering at Air University, Kamra Campus. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI), where his doctoral research focused on Natural Language Processing (NLP), with particular emphasis on sentiment analysis and sarcasm detection in low-resource languages. He also holds an M.S. degree from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST-EME) and a B.S. in Computer System Engineering from GIKI. Dr. Hassan’s research interests includes NLP, machine Learning, deep Learning, large language models (LLMs), and data-driven solutions for low-resource linguistic contexts, and his work has been published in peer-reviewed IEEE journals. With over eight years of teaching and research experience, he has designed and delivered a diverse range of undergraduate courses, supervised final-year projects, and contributed to curriculum development and quality assurance. In addition to his academic and research contributions, Dr. Hassan actively promotes competitive programming and problem-solving skills as an organizer and coordinator for the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC – Asia West region). He remains dedicated to advancing academic excellence, mentoring future engineers, and conducting impactful research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data science, and computational linguistics.
